Train Smuggler

Hazel was lying on the ground while Peach played with trains.  I was off quickly doing something-or-other and thought nothing of it.

At Hazel's nap time, wrapped her as always and she was having quite a hard time falling asleep.  Eventually, though, sleep won over.  Sadly, she woke up only 30 minutes later... it had taken her long enough to fall asleep, that I figured I could feed her again and so I unwrapped her and took her to the changing table.  While carrying her unwrapped, I felt something hard on Hazel's stomach!  Her little outfit has a cute (but unnecessary) double-handed pocket on the front (like a pull-over hoody might have) and when I reached inside, I pulled out a train.

I still feel bad about making her fall asleep with that lumpy train in her pocket.

Funny Sleeper

The Frog goes through phases of requesting to sleep in odd locations- under the bed, in the crib, and in this case, squeezed in between the bed and the wall, on top of a pile of stuffed animals.

Spiderman!!

The Frog has been watching the old Spiderman cartoons on Netflix and is officially obsessed.  When he's not acting like a dog, he's Spiderman.
It's mostly cute, except at the grocery store when he jumps out of the shopping cart and runs away down the aisle yelling "Spiderman!!!!"

(okay, it's cute even then!)

Funny Frog

I just wanted to point out the underpants.  Too bad that only lasted 1 day...

We often go around the block together- The Frog on his bike and me in the stroller.  Well, the other day I thought it would be fun to go to the grocery store together, not thinking about what I would do with The Frog once I got there...  Well, he got his first trip to the store outside the shopping cart, and when I got to the checkout, we ended up with a bag of Dum Dums and some "Phineas & Ferb" bandaids that I didn't pick out.  Here he is making the most of his new bandaids...

Minstrels

I wish I wish I had taken a picture!

At around 3:30pm today, I was greeted at my front door by 3 boys, all about 10 years old, all wearing a white collared shirt and nice pants, and all toting a musical instrument. They abruptly serenaded me with Jingle bells (a vocal duet, featuring the violin) and Good King Wencelas, a trombone and clarinet duet.

I swear this would only ever happen in Provo, right?

My neighbors across the street happened to be driving away at the exact moment, and they stopped in the street and rolled down their window to enjoy the show :D
