Remember when I finished knitting a cardigan for Peach? Well, she's big enough to wear it now! And I'm excited to report that it actually fits and looks cute :)Peach is already taking after her older brother and sucks her thumb. (he didn't pick that up until he was about 8 months) Just cause she's cute...
I got a skein of pink yarn with gold flecks from a $1 bin at a really neat yarn place in MA this summer. I finally thought of a way to use it! Meanwhile, The Frog is enjoying my boots. and no pants.
I woke up this morning to this:Good thing I just finished making this: Now that I've made one from a pattern, I have a lot of ideas of how I'd like to change it to make it better. Hopefully I can get another one done before I'll be wanting to wear one every day :)
I've been a knitter for several years now, but rarely ventured from scarves and hats because 1) I'm too impatient and 2) I didn't think it likely that I'd actually want to wear anything else I could knit.
Well, I've found a solution to both of those problems-
Knit small articles of clothing for small people (much quicker) who can't do anything but wear what you put on them. The result?
