Toad lately

I can't believe how much older Toad seems since 6 months ago!  He wasn't talking very much until about 20 months old and then exploded with words.  He doesn't make any guttural sounds (g, k), replacing most of them with "t" and "d", so it can be challenging to understand him, but he talks on and on like everyone knows what he's saying.  It's adorable.

Binary questions always affirmed with "yesssssss".

I wanted to be sure and remind my future self how he loves to get himself breakfast while I'm making (2nd) breakfast everyday.  For months, he used to pour himself a nice, cold, bowl of frozen peas from our bottom-drawer freezer, but lately he's discovered the frozen "boo-loo-bellies" (blueberries), and now prefers to eat breakfast with the family sporting a purple goatee and hands to match.  Toad can also serve himself a nice Babybel cheese wheel- which he can open and undo the circumferencing wax strip, but then rips the whole thing in half, nibbles what is poking out of each red, half-moon, and discards the rest somewhere for me to discover (hopefully before it becomes fossilized).  Heaven help me when he gets ahold of the raisins...

I also love that Toad will often spontaneously sing "Happy birthday to you, for mama"  (and that's the only part he knows).  He loves loves LOVES music.  He always requests "I want CD" in the car, but the only one he wants to listen to is "Beedas" (Beatles).  "I want subma-een"  The older kids like The Yellow Submarine, and I stupidly let them listen to it on the Yellow Submarine album (which is not their best album, I must say) and now that's the only CD Toad is satisfied to recognize as the Beatles and will allow us to enjoy.  I'm pretty sure I've heard that album 50 times last week alone.  He loves to dance- especially spins that land him on the floor or wide sways of his adorable, diapered, buns.

Toad is very interested in toilets right now.  He often wants to look in at the mechanisms in the tank when we flush, and must then watch, and flush a few times more.  He likes to try and help me wipe too, which is often a struggle, but I usually manage to win that battle.  Once flushing (which usually occurs before I'm done, or when there is no need) he often asks "where it go?"  And when I tell him "in the pipes under the house" he always responds very knowingly "OOOOOOhhhh."  He has even used the toilet himself a few times, much to my extreme amazement, but is not interested in using the potty exclusively.  The Toad will never own up when I accuse him of poop in his diaper and seems to always time it perfectly for just after I've put him in the car to leave, especially when we're in a hurry.

He has already picked up on making sound effects (undoubtedly from The Frog), especially unique ones for his vehicles.

Toad never really used our Lego Duplos, jumping right to the "Yegos" he sees his older siblings use.  He can often be making lop-sided, holey, houses and "panes" (planes).

Toad really really loves babies.  He points them out wherever we go.  Anytime I get on my phone he grabs at it so he can "see baby" in Marco Polo videos from my sister and friends.  He tucks in dolls for sleep and was really excited when my friend and her 3 boys (one of them just barely walking) came to play and loved to "help" that baby find something to do (until he wanted something Toad was particularly attached to).  Oddly, he got very protective of his changing mat when I loaned that out and reminded me of it today.

I'm sorry to say, I probably have 1/100th as many pictures of his childhood as I do of the others, and I vow to be better about that- especially since he's my most willing photography subject!  However, I only get one chance for a good photo with him because as soon as he thinks I've had enough time to snap his posed smile, he totters straight for the camera, arms outstretched, saying "ca-I see?"

Toad does NOT like to be left behind.  Whether I'm walking the kids to the bus or grabbing a can from the basement, if he notices, he will drop what he's doing and urgently ask,
"ca-I come?"
me: "sure"
Toad: "oooh-taaaay!"

Merry Christmas 2014

I can't believe how busy life is with homeschooling!  I am so behind on updating the blog.  I suppose I should have known... but really!!

The Frog has joined the Tiger Cub Scouts, which he loves.  He just earned his Bobcat badge and really liked touring the local firehouse.  He loves to read picture books out loud to himself every night.  His favorite things to do are put together large lego sets at Gampie's house and play Minecraft :)

Peach got glasses!  She looks adorable and sees better too :)  She loves playing pretend and incorporating characters from the latest books we are reading into her play (right now, Pippi Longstocking). Lately, she loves to show off her dance moves to whoever will watch- particularly ballet and Irish step-dancing.

Hazel really wants to be a part of all the homeschooling and requests that we teach her the alphabet (which she almost knows completely now).  She also brings me my phone to punch in the code so she can "do game".  She knows how to navigate my phone and find all the activities she likes on it by herself!  She especially likes watching home movies (particularly of herself).

Jay has had long days this semester with a late-night class twice a week, but next semester he should be home more, for which we are all grateful.  He loves the students and the beautiful Vassar campus.  (our photos below were taken there) He is a programming monkey and has been doing some fun, innovative stuff, particularly with music:  he wrote an 80s style synthesizer, and a program that writes musical scores.  Every time I turn around, it seems like he's proved a new theorem.  We are all very proud of him and how hard he works for our family.  I am especially grateful for how much cleaning slack he has taken over with my lack of time due to homeschooling.

Aside from school for the kids, I have been keeping busy playing the piano for the ward choir, and the primary, and helping out in the Relief Society here in our new ward.  I'm feeling blessed to have nice neighbors with kids similar ages to our own.

Moving has been a big adjustment for everyone, but I feel so blessed that the children have adjusted better than I expected.  It has been hard, but already I have learned a lot and grown from the difficulties.  Since we are renting, we know moving is eminent and I feel it will be much easier next time.

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello NY!

Well, we are moved in.  I keep meaning to take pictures for a tour, but I'm having a hard time finding a large enough chunk of time to do that and see that the rooms look clean in the pictures.  You'd think living in a smaller space would be easier to keep clean, and in some ways it is, but mostly it just means that there are less places to hide the mess.

We have settled in Wappingers Falls.  I know, I know- it looks like "whap-ing-ers" but it's really "wahp-in-jers".  Now you're in the know.

I decided that I wasn't going to be my normal introverted self and made sure to introduce ourselves to at least our direct neighbors.  We met them with some chocolate zucchini muffins in hand, and though I was terrified, they were well received.  Turns out, we have a couple of neighbors with young kids/grandkids too!

We've had to re-"break-in" the kids with homeschooling.  We completely got out of our routine and had to go through the 2 weeks of power-struggle so they could see that we mean business and, yes, we have to go to school every day, and work before play and all that.  Peach has settled in nicely and has started addition and sounding out words (but addition is her favorite - that's my girl!) and Jack is really getting into reading.  Things are going really well!  Hazel really wants to get in on the homeschooling action and during The Frog's first break will often run over exclaiming, "my turn! my turn!"  At first, I kind of sighed and went through the motions of what we are planning to do a year from now, but actually, Hazel recognizes the letters A and B and knows that the B says "buh".  It's awesome!

I think the hardest change is that The Frog and Peach are sharing a room and so they are much more sleep-deprived than they used to be, and we are much less in control of their bedtime (because they stay up late playing with each other).  The Frog still wakes up early, typical, but Peach sleeps in until about 7am.  I think his sleep-deprivation may be closely tied to his crankiness, but I'm not sure what to do about that.  It seems weird to reinstate naps with our now 6-year old (oh yeah! we had a birthday party!  I really need to upload my photos.) but that may be in order.

Our ward here is much smaller than in Provo (not unexpected) and the people seem nice and there are a few other moms with young kids that seem great.  Unfortunately, half of them live 45 minutes away, (ward boundaries are a lot bigger here) - closer to Connecticut (and Costco!) so playdates with them will be trickier to arrange.  I am happy to be living where I am, though - a pretty street with well-kept, simple homes and convenient to shopping and farm stands.

Jay has been called to be the Young Men's President here - meaning he is in charge of the boys ages 12-18 (all 4 of them!) and I've been asked to serve as the second counselor in the Relief Society Presidency - they are head of the women's organization, all women over 18.  I also get to play piano for the choir, which is nerve-wracking but so so fun!

I would like to post pictures, but I really haven't been taking very many.  I think I'm over the worst of the depressed part of moving and so hopefully I'll feel more like I want to remember more moments.  I must say, though it's really hard to get ready to move and then move in somewhere else with kids underfoot, they have really made this whole thing so much easier.  Peach, especially, has just become so funny (though, at times, soooo difficult) and just seems to know when I need to hear someone say "I love you".  I'm going to try and be better about writing down the cute things they say that make me chuckle.  I still remember how nervous I was to bring the kids here for the first time because to me this place is worse in every way compared to our beautiful home in Provo that we made ours, but Peach, after doing a quick run-through exclaimed with a squeak, "MOM!  I LOVE our new house!!"

Hopefully you and my future self are all feeling updated! :)

How Did Life Get So Busy?

Hello everyone!  (if anyone is out there still reading...)

I keep waiting for things to die down to record the things I wish to remember, but it just seems like they never will!

We had a fun yet busy Christmas break - preceded by the whole family taking their turn with the flu.  Luckily, Jay, the last to pay his dues, was well enough by Christmas to eat a full meal and even dessert! :)  However, the unexpected sickness did put me behind and I still have a basket with undelivered Christmas cards and a couple of presents sitting on my desk...

What do you think is it even worth trying to deliver them at this point?

A couple of days after Christmas, we got to spend some time with Jay's family - for an unexpectedly extended trip after their flight was cancelled due to snow in Boston.  It was so great to spend time with all of them and to have an excuse to make big meals (and to have extra help making them :D).  I'll expand more on that later.  (hopefully later this week...)

Then, all last week, Jay was out of town at back-to-back conferences in Florida and then Chicago, meanwhile, I was trying to arrange people to watch my kids while attending a ballet class at BYU this semester- I'm finally trying to take advantage of my "professor's wife" status.  It didn't occur to me to make sure the class was not barely too early for any students to be out of school to babysit, and also so late that willing moms couldn't help out because they have to pick up their kids from school and there is not enough room in their car for all my kids and theirs...  Luckily, I have the best neighbors **EVER** and they were willing to go to all ends to help me out- including watching for increments and then handing the kids off elsewhere...  I don't know how the rest of the world gets along without awesome neighbors like mine.

Provo rocks.

Anyway, I feel a few weeks behind in all aspects of life, but it seems to carry on just the same.  and so do I.

Unfortunately, I haven't found myself taking as many photos lately.  I guess it's because we do mostly routine things that don't seem like particular "kodak moments"  (has that phrase been updated?  instagram-worthy moments? :D) BUT, I still feel like I have a lot of ruminations lately, and hopefully I can remember what they all are long enough to write some of them down.

I do have a few photos, though, and I'll start with those first.  I'd also like to do a little bit of a "kid review", because I feel like they have all grown up so much these past few months and I just don't want to forget about the changes they've undergone.  I feel a particular urgency as The Frog has lately been asking me a lot of questions about himself as a baby in watching Hazel and her milestones, and it makes me want to be sure to record some of the fun things from their childhood so that I will be able to have answers for his curiosity.

It never ceases to amaze me how when The Frog was a baby, I lived for every little milestone and rejoiced in every minute advancement, yet when he asked me the other day, I couldn't even remember what his first word was!!

Oh mother, I'm beginning to understand you more each day...  How you did it with 6?  I doubt I ever will fully.  It takes an amazing person.

So, if you hate those cheesey, "hurray! my kid can now perform another act of minutiae" kind of posts, you may want to skip the rest of this week. :)

More Whirl

I guess I overestimated my slugginess because I didn't think I had any more pictures on my camera besides Easter on, but I was wrong.  So here's a couple more weeks of update:

Peach loves taking things out of the cupboards while I cook, and trying to sit in/on them.  (sometimes she'll turn them upside-down and try to jump off them)  I guess these mini cake pans were too small for sitting inside.  The Frog must have thought it looked super fun...
Peach has recently become obsessed with "unnies!!" and since The Frog's are easier to reach than her own, she often wears his.  This particular day, she insisted on wearing 3 pairs over her pants, but usually they end up on top of her diaper, under the pants.  I have let her wear her own undies a few times, trying to see if the potty thing would catch on, but she still doesn't get it.  She often asks to sit on the potty, and I let her, but has yet to produce.  I'm going to wait until after our summer travels and then potty-train the two in one swoop.  (at least that's the plan.  The Frog can definitely do it, he just has no motivation to, and I think not wanting to be shown up by little sis might do the trick.)
Weather is warming up and the kids are asking to spend more time outdoors.  It's fantastic!  I can even let them play out there for 30 minutes at a time without close supervision or crying :)
I always get excited when our first flowers come up, and I wanted to bring some daffodils inside, until I noticed that some of them have little tiny wormy things in them.  Never mind, these just livened up our patio table instead :)
Peach has finally figured out to go down the slide all by herself.  Going to the park is actually fun again!  (for me and both kids....)

The Frog was invited to his first birthday party ever, and he talked about it for a whole week- especially because he won the Easter egg hunt.  I guess whoever found the most won something, and that's made him feel awesome all week.  (also very competitive...)
Some of the plastic eggs he found had little stamps in them and Peach got one while I wasn't looking...
Started a few plants indoors.  My red bell pepper never came up though... :(
And as per tradition, our Easter wheat grass.
Oh yeah, despite wearing shorts for several days, we got a sudden snow storm?  The Frog wanted to make a snow bunny, but while I was inside getting to carrot ears, I looked out at him and he was punching the head off.  Here if you look closely, you can see the decapitated snow ball.  (and The Frog running away from the picture)

Two Months in a Jiffy

I'm sorry.  I've been a slug lately.  I have recently lost all motivation to do anything but the bare minimum, and this blog wasn't that.

Oddly enough, on the day I feel the worst (have a cold) I've decided I can't stand it anymore and I'm going to recap, tornado version.  Because if I don't do something now, I'll just feel even more overwhelmed and never do it.

Here goes:
The Frog with our sole snowman of the year

Pink (beet) pancakes for Valentine's

sadly didn't stay pink once cooked...

Peach does this cuddly thing.  A LOT.  It's adorable.

This time, though, she did it on the counter?

I went all out this year, and made a Valentine's card for Jay.

3D style.

I don't think I'll ever be able to top this.

Homemade Okonomiyaki.  Hopefully I'll give a step-by-step one of these days.

The cuteness magootness

she loves those shoes.  and all shoes.

daddy and Iris went to Disneyland and brought back the hugest lolly-pops ever.

I wish I had the after pic with their black mouths.

The Frog pulls down all his clothes in his closet when he gets mad at me.

This time, I guess it tired him all out.

They are actually occasionally nice to each other now.  Hooray!

Pistachio cake for St. Patty's Day, since I was too lazy for corned beef and cabbage.

She wanted me to take her pic for some reason.  She immediately says "cheeeeeese" whenever she sees the camera and it's hard to get her to not look like this.

Riding the train together.

don't you just want to SQUEEZE her?
Update: I just uploaded photos from my camera, thinking it would be Easter on, turns out I had photos from March 22 on, so this is really more like "5 weeks in a jiffy".  I changed the date on this so I could try to make it reflect chronology better, 'cause I'm just anal like that...

Last Week

It's been so nice not having a million things on my plate!  I've had so much fun just playing and reading stories with my children!
The Frog has been wearing underpants all week long, which I'm really, really excited about.  Turns out, when you put underpants on little sister (just to try) all of a sudden it looks like a good idea to big brother...
He's also discovered the "funny face"-
Little Peach amazes me with her vocabulary increase, and will often try to repeat the last thing anybody said, just to see if she can say it.  She loves to pick out books and then come sit on my lap to read them (usually with her feet stuck between my legs). This is  picture of her pushing her "bankie" in the stroller- a favorite activity of hers. She is very particular that the blanket can't have any edges poking out beyond the seat of the stroller, it's so funny.
The Frog loves to pretend he's a dog, and Peach loves to copy her brother, so I often get little barking children at my feet, who try to get my attention by scratching my legs.  This particular day, The Frog found a pacifier and decided he was a baby dog.  Peach found a bottle nipple and decided the same.
My neighbor had an idea for an awesome book that they really created to market toward taiwanese school children who are learning English, but he gave one to us and my kids LOVE it.  It's an ABC book and you're supposed to glue in pictures of your own kids with the alphabet item mentioned.  Brilliant!  What kid doesn't LOVE looking at pictures of themselves!
It is THE Most requested book in my house- and I haven't even glued the pictures in yet...  I keep meaning to print out pictures to put in- most of them I will use ones we already have.  For example, A is for Apple- we have an apple tree, so plenty of kid-with-apple pics to choose from.  B is for Book- I might even use this picture for that one!  H is for "Happy Birthday"- who doesn't have at least ONE birthday shot of their children...  There are a couple pages where I might just put in my own picture- like I have a cute one of The Frog eating ice cream that I'm going to use for I.  If anyone wants to buy a copy, I think they're $12, and I can figure out how to get one to you.  The pictures are adorable and each page has a few things drawn that also starts with that letter of the alphabet.

Update

I haven't been the best at posting lately (as you may have noticed). We finally have the use of our main floor now, although all our doors are gone (getting painted) which is a bit trying at times. We had a The-Frog-meets-furnace-incident which is luckily fixed now. (2 cold days and $75 later...) We were supposed to get our doors back last Friday, but have now been promised them tomorrow. I'm beginning to loathe that word (tomorrow) lately...

Anyway, Jay and I have been staying up late every night trying to get organized and somewhat clean. There is soooo much dust. EVERYWHERE. It's amazingly thick and noticeable in even the most discrete locations, but I guess this is good because my house will (hopefully) be really thoroughly clean in a few weeks time. This is forcing me to get down and scrub things I usually ignore. However, the things I normally clean regularly are really suffering. (shhh)

On top of this, The Frog has been pretty sick. He now only has a cough and runny nose, which is good, but I'm ready for him to be well so we can spend more time outside. Tomorrow is his last day of antibiotic! :)

For some reason, The Frog has detested sleeping more intensely than usual (my guess is it has something to do with his ear infection?) and so we've had to be a bit more lax about where he sleeps. I had the "brilliant" idea of setting up his little play tent and tube in his room so he could have a new form of indoor entertainment, and he has decided to put up camp there when he sleeps now. I come to find out that Jay was apparently very experimental in his choice of sleep locations until he was about 13. He mentioned to me his closet among others. How odd.

Peach is doing well. Though she's been a bit congested, she's holding up well and still being as cute as ever. I think she's ready to start eating solids, but I'm dreading it because nursing is just sooooo much easier. (and cleaner!) It's funny how wide Peach opens her mouth when any object approaches her face. She also should be wearing size 2 diapers now (as of about a week ago) but her cheap mom refuses to let her wear them during the day until ALL the size 1s are gone. We should finally exhaust them tomorrow :D Also, we tried her out in the exersaucer. She is really excited about it, but looks kind of like a bobbing buoy in it, so we try not to make her spend more than a couple of minutes at a time in there. She has also mastered the tummy-to-back-roll.

Another excuse for not posting is because I've been using my spare moments in the evenings to study Japanese, but I'll do a separate writing log to expound upon that.

I'm starting to think about our 10-year high school reunion for next year. I can't believe it's already been 9 years since I graduated from High School! I was a class officer, so I get the lucky task of planning it, so if any of you out there have any brilliant ideas, I'm all ears. I may try to recruit some of you fellow classmates to help, so watch out if you see my name on your CID in the next week or so :D

Did ballet for the first time this year at an attempt to start my exercise New Year's resolution. (I started a bit late because I've been sick too.) I admit after only 20 minutes, my legs felt like jello and I decided 20 would have to be enough or I may not be able to stand to make breakfast. It felt really good though :)

As you can see, a lot on my plate right now, but for some reason, I'm feeling very energized by it! I think the minor improvements on the house are helping me cope with the inconvenience, and new goals always get me feeling motivated.

Not much picture taking going on around here. I'll try to be better about that.

I did it!!!

I recently made a goal to go through all the emails in my inbox, give them all the appropriate labels, and then archive them.

You heard me. ALL of them.

ok, not the starred ones.

But guess what! I did it!! It's official!! I used to have over 2,000 emails in my inbox and they are now nicely tucked out of view, and filed away in my virtual filing cabinet that is gmail. What's amazing to me is that I'm only now using 25% of my available space. I don't even know if that's a lot.

How much are you using?

I think the second best part of this filtering process was looking through all my old emails and reliving some fun conversations, remembering the event planned for, and feeling relieved that I'm done with school.

The best part being the uncluttered, purified, cleansed, inbox. This is the new me.

*sigh*

14 Months!

Wow, The Frog is getting so big and coordinated! It's been very fun to hear his jabbering get more complicated and even just today he started saying "wowowowowowow". Very cute.

Sadly, he officially figured out how to remove lids from pens, markers and chapstick (he's enjoying the taste of some above...) so I've had to move all those out of reach. I'm running out of storage spaces he can't get into now! Sometimes, "get into" is more literal than I thought possible, as you can see below.
Yes, he is holding fondue lighter fluid. Yes, I promptly put it in a high place... but not until after the picture ;)
The Frog doesn't only say gibberish. Kinda. The untrained ear may not recognize it, but he actually says quite a list of things. Luckily, he always points when he says them, so I've been able to figure them out, but they are all mostly only first letter sounds. For instance, he uses "buh" to mean: "ball", "bug", "book" and "basket", depending on what he is pointing to at the time. This is a "bug" instance below. He also says "luh" for "light" and "lid"- two very important things in his life. Occasionally we get a "duh" which obviously means "duck" or "dog". :) I just love the look of satisfaction he gets on his face when he points to a picture of a ball in a book and very decidedly says "bah!"

He is also showing that he recognizes a lot of things I say, though I didn't notice until today. About a week ago, I was holding him and he was excitedly hitting and grabbing my face. I decided this had to stop, now that it actually hurts, and I grabbed his wrist and helped him stroke my cheek nicely and said "be gentle, please!" I thought he had totally forgotten the incident but today he was throwing some large toy down and I said, "Oh! Be gentle, please!" And he came over to me and stroked my cheek. I couldn't believe it!
Also, he loves it when I ask him "where's my nose?" because he'll stop whatever he's doing to come over and show me. He of course, always gives himself a round of applause for his great knowledge. :)
One of his favorite outdoor activities continues to be throwing dirt from my planter onto the ground. Although, today he one-upped it and carefully carried it a few feet away to...
the bench on our picnic table. So he could smear it around, of course!
I thought it was funny that two different angled shots I took, look like the same instance in time, though really they are not.

Great job, little man! I can't believe how much you have learned!

The Frog 13 months!

I didn't take many pictures this past week, probably because I was trying to get the house ready for Jay's family to visit, but The Frog did manage to do at least one irresitable Kodak moment.
Some Frog behaviors I've been meaning to write down:

-Lately he loves to get some sort of rag (usually he prefers it wet) so that he can wipe things off. I guess he sees that I wipe things a lot? It's pretty funny. One time he shook out some of his milk so that he could wipe it up with a rag. Silly boy...
-He's getting 3 molars! It's strange that there doesn't seem to be any logical order like there was with his first 8 teeth... he's getting two on the bottom left and one on the top right.
-He's becoming devious.
I have a fake plant in the family room that has been a constant battle to keep The Frog from pulling the leaves off it. One day, I noticed that he would only do it when I was busy doing something (and thus, ignoring The Frog) so that I would stop what I was doing and come pay (negative) attention to him. So I decided to try an experiment: next time he picked the leaves off I would just completely ignore him. The opportunity arose when I was trying to read while sitting on the floor near where The Frog was playing. He wanted me to stop
so
he picked off a leaf.
I could see in my periphery that he was watching me, but I in no way changed my behavior.
He picked off another.
Still I ignored him.
So he walks up to me and pushes the leaves in my face while I'm reading.
Still I make no signs of interest.
He picked off several more and stuck them in his shopping card and pushed them around, but he doesn't pick them off much anymore.
Libby 1, Frog 0.

However, just goes to show you that some kids will take negative attention to being ignored all together. Very interesting.

The Frog Pics

A dirty day in the yard. Very typical for The Frog.
The Frog had his 1 year doctor appointment and it's amazing to see how much he can get into at the office compared to last time. He thought this stool looked like a nice little space to be in, apparently. He's still growing, though hasn't quite made it to 20 lbs yet. He's in the 5% for weight, average height and 95% for head size! Poor kid!! No wonder he's constantly bonking it on everything... his head is massively huge for his body!
I went shopping at Down East Home and ended up getting a couple vases for our hearth (50% off :D) but couldn't help but notice the cute mini, leather, sofa set. The Frog seems right at home in this lounging chair.
Now that The Frog is walking, it's extraordinarily difficult to get him to stay in the shopping cart- he insists on helping to push it. (10 points if you can tell where we are)
Fall suddenly arrived this week as the temperatures are low 50s in the morning. Sadly, I hadn't figured that out until during a morning jog and The poor Frog was very under-dressed. We cut it short and came home- I tried to put him in a snow hat to warm him up, but he doesn't like keeping them on his head. I eventually tried covering his ears with a sweatband, and it seemed to do just the trick!
"Auntie" Melissa gave The Frog this outfit as a welcome to Earth present and he's finally able to wear it! Doesn't the hat just look adorable?
And finally, The Frog has almost given up on crawling. He mostly walks everywhere now.
