The Blue Mallow

I've finally decided I need to do something a bit physical, just because I love it so much and I need to get out of the house more, so I've decided to start walking. It's been really fun to walk around my neighborhood and finally start recognizing where I am, or discovering two streets that connect. My Peg Perego Pliko P3 Classico Stroller is awesome too. (Thanks Nanny!)

But, I think my favorite part is how cute The Frog looks all bundled up.

A- He looks way too cute. It's people like you who keep making me want a baby, so quit it already. If you can't stop posting pictures of an adorable nature please follow them with a throw-up picture, a middle of the night picture, or even a receipt for all the diapers might do the trick. Maybe.

B- Was it you who was in search of a mac-n-cheese recipe?

I hope so, cuz here's one:

Baked Mac-n-Cheese

-4 cups pasta elbows
-1/2 cup butter, divided (leave out 2 Tbsp. for topping)
-6 Tbsp. flour
-2 tsp. dry mustard
-2 tsp. salt
-5 cups milk
-4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-4 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
-4 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

1) Heat oven to 375. Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Cook and drain pasta.

2) In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter (leave out those 2 Tbsp.) Whisk in flour, mustard and salt. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted.

3)In dish, combine sauce with macaroni. In a small bowl, melt 2 Tbsp. of butter. Combine with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over top of macaroni.

4) Bake for 17-20 minutes or until top crust is golden. Let stand 20 minutes before serving.

I'm wondering how much of that is him and how much is just air. It is so cute! It reminds me of the kid on Christmas Story. :)
