Jay and I watched "You've Got Mail", the other night and I loved that it is clear that it takes place partially during Thanksgiving and Christmas and it got me thinking... what other great movies out there have Christmas references, but aren't necessarily explicitly Christmas movies? I'm sick of watching "Home Alone", "Christmas Vacation", and other traditional Christmas classics. Help me switch up my Christmas movie list this December!! What are your favorites?!

I love watching White Christmas with Bing Crosby (if you're into old movies) and of course there is always It's A Wonderful Life. Another one I like is While You Were Sleeping with Sandra Bullock. Love that movie!
Everyone knows Die Hard and Love Actually are the best Christmas movies.
"The Holiday." I know, I know. It's named "The Holiday." But it isn't a Christmas movie. Just a really cute, sweet chick flick. Love it. I want to watch it now.
Plus, I'm pretty sure the title actually refers to what British people call it when they go on vacation or take time off.
Can we please get together and watch it?
There's Elf if you like Will Ferrel
"Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire - if you like White Christmas you will love it, and it takes place during all the holidays of the year, but begins and ends on Christmas. I LOVE this movie!
While You Were Sleeping
My favorite has already been listed - while you were sleeping, but Drew and Andy's favorite is probably Elf! Oh, and we have the first on VHS and the later on DVD if you want to borrow! We also have It's a wonderful life and we might even have White Christmas and the Grinch who stole Christmas and some of the classic cartoons/claymation (sp?)!
I was going to say Die Hard! Jay beat me to it. Family Stone is good, too. I'll try to think of some more.
