The Frog asks me a LOT of questions. A. LOT. But they are not usually about my opinion, and even if they are, I tend to be very opinionated and have little trouble answering those. This one really got me stuck in my tracks, and I've been thinking about it constantly...
The Frog: Mom, what word do you like?
Me: (feeling like I should just have a favorite word but realizing I've never thought about it before...) Coconut
The Frog: I like dolphin.
So, what's your favorite word? I'm still not committed to coconut. But it's cute, right?

Um. This is a good question. I don't think I've ever had pumpernickel but I sure like that word.
Cake. Cake is the best word ever. Not only is its denotation excellent, but it sounds nice and feels great in your mouth.
I like the word cacophonous. It's such a fun word to roll around and it sounds like what it is. I remember learning the word in middle school and it's been a favorite ever since.
My favorite has to be: Kraftfahrzeugabstellungsraum. From a time when the Germans wanted to stick it to the French.
But then again, maybe this one is better: Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz.
They're all just so much fun. It doesn't have to be English, does it?
Hmmm...I'm sure I have one but I won't know what it is until I say it next. I will be sure to come back to this post at that time. I'm glad you're bringing this up so I can be prepared when Poppy asks!
I have caught myself saying "muchacha" a couple of times in the last week (directed at the baby...). I don't think I can say it is my favorite word, but it sure is a fun one!
Hmm. That is a good one. Supercalifragilisticexpialidoscious? Apparently I spelled it wrong :). I also have learned to love when Andy jokingly calls me his shnookims - but that isn't actually a word either. I'll have to think of a real one!
